Eco Providers
Renewable Energy · Sept 2024 — Feb 2026
Renewable energy. Responsible future.
Built an integrated growth engine that took a regional renewables firm into category leadership.
Eco Providers install solar, battery storage and air-source heat pumps across the North West. When I joined, the brand had strong installation credentials but a fragmented digital presence — low organic visibility, a tired website and no joined-up funnel feeding the sales team. The brief: own the full marketing stack and turn it into a predictable growth engine.

The challenge
Where we started.
Limited organic presence, low brand awareness and an outdated website with poor engagement in a competitive renewables market. The sales team had inconsistent lead flow, no nurture system, and no integrated strategy to scale into new postcodes.
Integrated strategy
How we approached it.
01
Website as a content engine
Redeveloped the site so it would function as a content engine — structured around intent journeys (solar, battery, heat pump), with an IA and CMS built to publish grants, ROI calculators and installation guides at scale and feed the SEO programme.
02
Entry into the able-to-pay market
Positioned the new site and proposition to support the business entering the able-to-pay market, opening a self-funded customer route alongside grant-led demand.
03
Full-funnel SEO programme
Technical SEO foundations, programmatic location pages and topical authority content mapped to the buyer journey.
04
Paid + organic compounding
Search and Meta campaigns tightly coupled with SEO landing pages so paid spend trains the algorithm and lifts organic.
05
HubSpot lead engine
Forms, lead scoring, nurture workflows and sales handoff wired end-to-end so every enquiry is routed and measured.
Execution
What we shipped.
- Led the first website redevelopment to support SEO — a content-led rebuild done against tight business time constraints, that lifted site engagement rate from 33% to 68%.
- Re-architected the site into a content engine — new IA, design system and CMS built to publish location, service and guide content at scale.
- Positioned the new site and proposition to support entry into the able-to-pay market.
- Built location and service landing pages targeting high-intent commercial keywords.
- Launched a content programme covering grants, ROI calculators and installation guides.
- Set up HubSpot as the single source of truth — lead scoring, nurture, attribution, sales pipeline.
- Stood up GA4 + Looker Studio dashboards reporting against pipeline and revenue, not vanity metrics.
